About me
- Where I liveAt the moment I live in Uxbridge down by Heathrow Airport.The areas ok,a couple of reasonable sized parks and greenbelt areas to relax in.Im pretty close to all the main motorways as well which makes it handy for getting around the country at short notice. The underground is not something I tend to rely on to much because lets face it its expensive ,dirty ,unreliable. Where as my scott hybrid never lets me down.I open the garage door and its always ready and waiting to go.All it needs is a little TLC with oil and the ocassional service.
- What is your occupation?My profession for the last 13 years has been Acting.I got into it late in the day after trying out a huge long list of jobs that I hated with a passion. There are very fews things in life that give you the buzz of performing in front of an audience. Most of the time when Im not working Im trying to find the next job.The figures speak for themselves.At any one time around 95% of Actors are unemployed. Im doing a season for Butlins at the moment in a musical version of captain pugwash.As always Im playing the villain,but the bad guys always more fun. - Your perfect partner Mm now theres a tricky question.It changes slightly depending on my mood.But I think first and formost that person would have to have a really good sense of humour. Someone who could laugh at themselves,be willing to try new experiences. Someone with patience because I can be a pain in the arse at times.Like a lot of performers I dont have a lot of confidence,so someone who would be a good friend as well as a lover.Someone I could talk to.
Stuff I like
- MusicIm not picky about music.If I like it I like it. Only music I cant stand is the kind played by morons on their phones.Or sad people with large car stereos who drive down high streets with all the car windows open. To these people I'd say geta life.If I want to hear your music I will ask you otherwise keep it to yourself
- Your fav tv seriesIm a bit of a CSI nut at the moment.So when Im not out working locally or touring I tend to try and catch up with the episodes Ive missed. I think UK tv is pretty awful at the moment with absolute rubbish like Big Brother. I mean people spend their evenings on the sofa watching sad attention seeking wanabees sitting on a sofa or even worse asleep in bed.
- Your fav books/authorsIve got a few authors in mind.I think Ian Rankin is up there along with Peter Robinson.
- PetsTry and be compassionate about all animals even snakes,although Im not 100% sure about snakes. Have had family dogs in the past which have been loved.But have to confess to being more of a cat person.Quite sad at the moment because weve just had to put our one eyed persian called Bo down after a short illness. He was named after the great charcter actor Peter Faulk in his role of Columbo.For those of you who dont know Peter Falk only had one eye,the other one was glass.
- Fav PlaceNo one place makes me happy I think its purely a state of mind.You can be on top of everest over looking the snowy mountain peaks,but if your heart is lonely then all the beauty in the world will mean nothing to you.
- What's your favourite radio station ?Like a bit of smooth Fm,also a bit of heart.
- What's your favourite tv station ?Cant decide that one Im afraid.Im a CSI nut which is on 5.
- What's your favourite drink?Well I like a cold cider or beer every now and again.JD and coke.But my favourite drink is Tea.It wins every time.
- What's your favourite food?Love a really good fry up.Also a huge chocoholic.
My attitude
- Family lifeI'd like to think that one day I could have a family of my own.But Im not sure if I could think about that until I had a solid career to give my family all the things they needed.
- MoneyMoney only means choice to do the things you wish to do,when you want to do them. If I had lots of money would I have more friends ! possibly ,but not the sort of friends I want or need. I only want enough money to have a roof over my head and a few little luxuries.Enough money to buy a huge chocolate bar wouldnt go a miss.And I do mean huge
- PoliticsNo set views on politics.I think every party has at least one good idea.Trouble is the other 99% of their ideas are shit. Im with Billy Connolly on the subject of voting people in.Anybody who wants to be a Politician should be banned for life from being one.There is always a hidden agenda.Power corrupts,absolute power corrupts absolutely. I mean lets face it we didnt go to war to free anybody of late,we went for the oil,pure and simple.
