About me
A relocated Northerner clinging on to the last vestiges of my roots....I have been 'down south' for much of my adult life. I am a pretty happy energetic chap who tries to go miles for people. I am also blessed with many freinds willing to go miles for me. My family and freinds keep me grounded. I love meeting new people though and find myself with noone special to fill that 'partner' space. I love sports and the outdoors - ski and sail when I can and cycle and play tennis and cricket more often. Have also had my moments as a pantomime cow ! Am also a dab hand on the scrabble board given the chance ! Employed as an engineer but 'at home' with a book, at the theatre or a gallery. I travel a lot for work all over Europe / Middle East and Africa and occasionally to California and New England. I have lived in France and the USA. I adore cooking, gardening and music but I can sing like the neighbourhood cat (and that is being rude to the cat !) One of my favourite 'put downs' is from
