Mrheadache (38) from London, England, London
About me
Just to exchange emails and find out whether we're on comparable or dare I say it..same wavelength, as regards things. Going by my "looking for options", well take your pick:-0. It depends on both of us, so let's see where it lands us? If you're willing to give it a go then please be my guest & dive in:-)! Having been a member for a while before writing this bit, it seems like many others, I don't know why I'm particularly on here, except mainly for the fact that it's free and therefore it would have seemed churlish not to have given it a spin I suppose:-) I've now realised that there are a lot more intelligent and/or beautiful women out there all over the country, than I had previously realised. Though I had believed there surely must be, it's nice to have it confirmed so clearly as shown by the high quality of many of the women who have posted their profiles and managed to give me just that vaguest little glimpse of a few chosen aspects into their exciting and secretive world.

About me
- Where I liveLondon
- Where are you originally from?Wokingham, Berks
- Do you want to stay there?Don't know is honest answer. Can't ever say for sure can you, depends what comes up in the job market and where it's situated really! Would be nice to stay in the States for some part of my life or somewhere completely different in culture, like Japan, as enjoyed visiting there a year and half ago.
- What is your occupation?Have been a Postdoctoral Research Fellow doing medical/scientific research for 8 years up until last year -when grant ended. Currently still going into same workplace to continue pre-existing projects, while looking for new positions. Keeps me sane and interesting - I trust that's so anyway!:-) Not entirely sure about the former, but possibly at least the latter!
- What are your future plans?Too many to be computed?
- Your perfect partnerSomeone who is up for a laugh and not too serious, but can be serious about important things - whatever they are you may well ask? They would be well advised to have an enquiring mind and be able to think and decide what they like for themselves and outside of the limited scope of the mass-media generated and dominated boxes we are generally influenced by in our Western society - and increasingly and as a depressingly influential result - those of other societies also). Oh heavy stuff! It's alright I'll go and laugh at something frivolous in a moment just to tell myself I'm still alive:-) Probably tall, as I am, but I'm not too fussy really (5ft 4in or so up to my height). It's just more practical to snog each other when we're standing up, if of similar height:-) Though not a problem in other positions of course! Long hair is definitely a turn-on, but short is great too on many girls:-) Don't really mind about much else, don't want to write off too many potential interested parties:-) Also, it's nice to find out for oneself and leave some spontaneity in meeting as to how two peoples's perceptions are interpreted compared to the real! I guess finally (and being really mean I know), I do happen to prefer slimmer-through- to-medium women, I suppose because I'm a rake-thin beanpole myself! It does really and rightly so depend most importantly on the personality and vitality of the person; if they are interesting and distinctive - then anything is possible really isn't it?
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?Well, I guess I'm interested in the way the world works or rather fails to work the way we would so often wish it to. Funnily enough, it almost always turns out to be ok in the end for most of us; despite our protestations to the contrary at the time of a so-called disaster or calamity. We can't really seriously complain about our lot can we, when we have so much freedom to do what we want - if we really want to enough and say to hell with it and just go and do it or forget about it one or the other, rather than complaining!:-) Easy to say I know, but if persevered with, then infinitely healing - I would imagine anyway - if anyone other than buddhist monks ever truly achieve inner peace in this lifetime. Saying that, I can see the funny side of it all and the fact that nothing is really worth worrying about too much or for too long at a time. As there is no certainty in life no matter how much planning, money, friends or status you may have. At the end of the day you are born and die alone or rather your brain's constitution of who you are within the mental framework it has generated, mapping the confines of the outer maya or so-called "real world", is no longer available to be accessed by any single entity, but perhaps it reincarnates who knows? That moves us more into the mystical realms, rather than the rational ones, which as a scientist I prefer to work with wherever possible. I may be talking bs, but something like that has been posited by many philosophies and religions over the last five thousand years or so!
- MusicAll sorts really:-) Much more than could be accommodated by the lousy, limited and predictable i-pod generation-scope of this website. I would additionally and recommend for your novelty-starved brains' delectation: Marillion, Peter Hammill, Van der Graaf Generator, Pendragon, Arena, Steve Hackett, Camel, Roland Chadwick, Cinnamonia, Michael Hedges, George Winston, Weather Report, John McLaughlin, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, John Etheridge, Soft Machine, Caravan, Mike Oldfield, Van Morrison, Andy Cortes, Clannad, Sophie B. Hawkins, Judie Tzuke, Lene Lovich, Clare Martin, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Neil Morse, The Flower Kings, Ben Castle, Leonard Cohen, Nick and Roy Harper, King Crimson, June Tabor, Gong, Magenta, etc
- Your fav tv seriesMost serious political or nature documentaries, good black comedies, Morse, Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Nighty Night, Bremner Bird and Fortune, Midsomer Murders, Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, South Bank Show, Imagine, Dan Cruichshank's architecture or movie series', Question Time, This Week. Pretty much anything on BBC4, i.e. the sort of things which used to be on BBC2, before they dumbed it down!
