Musicman22 (38) from London, England, London
About me
I'm a pretty chilled out guy who enjoys life, music, movies, going out, good food. Love travelling, have lived and/or worked in the States, Malta, Scotland and Austraila and visited the likes of Thailand, Kenya & Mexico. My music taste is mainly indie - The Killers, Muse, The Rifles etc though anything from the 80s also tends to find its way onto my stereo. Currently learning how to play guitar, it's all getting horribly complicated now I've learnt the basic chords but still good fun. Play badminton on a fairly regular basis, also bought a bike a few months ago which I'm addicted too. Looking for someone to share life's great adventure with & have d*mn good laugh about everything with someone I click with. Ummm that's about it really. So give me a yell!

About me
- Where I liveLove London, there's always so much to see and do. Fairly regular visiter to the Tate, V&A, British Museum etc. Really like Putney where I live, got a real "village in the city" feeling about the place, and perfect for drinks by the river on balmy Summer evenings!
- Where are you originally from?I've lived in Malta, Scotland and then Salisbury before London where I've been for the last 15 years or so...
- Do you want to stay there?Happy to stay in London for the foreseeable future
- What is your occupation?I'm in marketing at a medium sized record company in Wandsworth. Have put out cds and dvds by bands like The Cure, The Pixes, Nirvana and pop stuff like Embrace, Alicia Keys & Usher.
- What have you done so far?Started out in media/advertising, but worked my way into the music industry via a marketing position at HMV.
- What are your future plans?Could do with settling down, but still keen to do lots more travelling!
- Your perfect partnerPerfect partner huh...in terms of personality I am attracted to girls who are quietly confident about themselves and who are maybe slightly quirky! Some of my heroes are decidedly eccentric, so guess I like girls who are a bit left-field (don't like bland things!). The usual things like humour and intelligence are obviously a must too.
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?Music, films, cycling, travelling, going out/socialising
- MusicBit of an indie boy, so bands like The Rakes, Maximo Park, The Editors, but also like cheesy stuff from the 80s if truth be told. Go to live gigs fairly often, looking forward to Glastonbury!
- Your fav tv seriesEnjoy Lost, Smallville, The Office (UK and US versions), Heroes, anything with Al Murray, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Little Britain, Meerkat Mansion, Hotel Babylon and of course Dr Who!
- Your fav books/authorsFavourite childhood book is Alice In Wonderland. Have recently read the latest novels by the ubiquitous Dan Brown and JK Rowling but also Stephen King's Eye of the Dragon and Salem's Lot. Also like to keep up to date with current affairs, so read The Econonmist, The Independent, The Spectator etc.
- What sort of movies do you like?Big movie fan, usually go to the flix every week with a bunch of people from work. Recently seen The Last King of Scotland, but enjoy pretty much anything good on the silver screen. Still, as you asked...Sixth Sense, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Anchorman, The Princess Bride, Shawshank, High Fidelity, Little Miss Happiness, Nacho Libre, old Pink Panther flix, the list could go on forever. Best film of last year? Pan's Labyrinth. Scariest film ever made? The Shining...without a doubt. *shivers*
