About me
- Where I liveI live in Luton, a relatively large town not too far from London or Milton Keynes. It's not the best place in the world, but it'll do, for now.
- Where are you originally from?Born and bred in Luton, coming up to 21 years of living here.
- Do you want to stay there?I don't wish to stay in Luton, hopefully someday I'll move to London, or possibly emmigrate to somewhere hot, like the USA, Australia or New Zealand.
- What is your occupation?I am currently training to become a Clinical Neurophysiologist with the NHS. Neurophysiology is the study of electrical activity of the brain, which data is obtained by EEG, Evoked potential or Nerve conduction study.
- What are your future plans?I would like to finish my degree and clinical training. From this I would either like to specialise in surgical neurophysiology, or do post-graduate medical degree to become a doctor specialising in emergency or intensive care medicine or vascular surgery (depending on my life/financial situation).
- Your perfect partnerPerfect partner... hmm... probably someone a bit older than me, with lots of stories to tell! Someone intelligent, confident and secure in being themselves. Someone quite easy going, but not afraid to make a decision (I'm very indecisive!) Ambitious is good, and someone spontanious with a bubbly personallity. Loving and caring, along with not being too idealistic. Looks wise, I do prefer brunettes.. quite tall with long legs, however I'm not a big fan of women who constantly obsess about their looks.
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?Mainly medicine, I'm of the mindset you should really make your career something you like, enjoy and interests you. That way, you can take the rough with the smooth alot easier. Other than that I enjoy watching films, going out to the theatre, concerts etc. or just having a decent conversation with someone!
- MusicI like pretty much everything, my tastes go all the way back to the 1600's (yes, I do love the classical!). I enjoy musical theatre and live concerts too.
- Your fav tv seriesI like both Scrubs and House. I'm a massive fan (DVD box sets lol), and do enjoy letting out the occasional quotation :\
- What sort of movies do you like?Anything funny, or something that makes you think. I don't particularly like anything to be over-hyped as it spoils the movie. I also enjoy french cinema (as I like reading subtitles, even with english films... [crazy!]).
- Types of people you like?I don't like people who take themselves too seriously, but I'm not a big fan of people who take everything as a joke either. I like wit and a good sense of humour, and things that are genuinely funny, not insulting or bitchy... unless it's very scathing and cynical. I also like people who can understand my point of view and people who don't mindlessly agree with me (I do enjoy a good debate). As you might be able to tell, I'm a typical Gemini because I like to contradict myself lol.
- What kind of people do you find attractive? As I said, I like brunettes who are tall with long legs. I do like women with an average build with a nice curvy figure. I have a bit of a shoe/stocking fetish too so anyone who enjoys that is definitely very attractive!! (and that's a bit of an understatement lol).
- FoodCurry is my number one favourite food, but I usually eat anything. I don't mind trying new things, but the one thing i cannot stand is mushrooms!!
- DrinksI tend not to binge drink, I enjoy a few beers after work now and again. I enjoy european lagers, particularly Grolsch and Zywiec. Non-alcoholic wise, I like fruit juices or a tall frosty glass of coke with ice and lemon.. mmm!
- HolidaysAnywhere hot and sunny, where I can really relax, have a swim and totally chill out. I'm not too keen on the typical 18-30 holiday with constant drinking and clubbing... but anywhere with some decent entertainment (bands etc) in the evening is good enough for me!
- Pets2 Dogs, one Jack Russell called Scrappy and a Cocker Spaniel called Bonnie. They're both mad, but I'm definitely a dog man. Cats just annoy me. So do people with horses.
My attitude
- Family lifeI would like the typical family, wife, kids, house, car, dog etc. Not too fussed when it happens, so long as it happens with the right person.
- Jobs&WorkingI am quite career orientated, but if you're in a medical profession you sign yourself up to a life of caring for people. I definitely would like to become the best I can be in my field... It's not so much the money, but the higher up you go, you have more freedom and influence to help people.
- MoneyMoney inevitably is a part of life... theres not much you can do to escape it. I do hate the spend-culture we have in Britain, as the acquisition of goods, services and drugs evidently does not make people happy (look at anyone who has become the centre of media attention and how "happy" they really are).
- PoliticsI'm quite liberal. I have opinions on most issues, but I very rarely express them as people either don't agree or are too apathetic. I don't like capitalism, but communism is too idealistic (especially where humans are concerned!)
