London38 (38) from London, England, Hackney
About me
Warm, witty, contented and amiable.. It would be great to meet my match, someone who can marry thoughful and caring with independent and adventurous- and who always sees the humour in life... well... almost. Sensitive, creative and open-minded in work and study, it's a trait reflect in my personal life. Generally laid back, although I'm attempting to give up smoking at the moment which is making me slightly twitchy.

About me
- Where I liveIt's a lovely place to live and the people are friendly- a calm little oasis on the funky side of London.
- Where are you originally from?London
- Do you want to stay there?I love London, but I've travelled a bit, and lived abroad for a short while- so I can imagine myself living abroad one day if it takes my fancy.
- What is your occupation?I'm a support assisstant for disabled children while studying a Masters in child psychology.
- What have you done so far?Artist, scultptor, puppet maker, set designer, bicycle messenger, computer repairer... loads more- I'm fabulolously talanted! ;p
- What are your future plans?I want to join a therapy practice for children when I qualify, then maybe start my own one day as well as working closely with schools and social services. And I'd really love to make time to do art work again.
- Your perfect partnerThat's hard! I don't have any preconceptions... really. Just the usual- someone, thoughtful, independent, daring at times, who takes a geniune deep interest in their own life/work/hobbies- no matter how big or small, as well as the world around them. whether up or down, life gives me a sparkle, I would hope it would for my partner.
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?Too much homework for hobbies! But love to cycle everywhere, I sold my car and prefer to hire one if I need one. I'm always fascinated by history and current affairs and how one effects the other. I love reading about the latest in scientific advances, can't wait until they finally switch on the "God particle searcher" at the end of the year! And the odd sketch when I have the time.
- MusicI'm pretty eclectic, anywhere from 70s folk to techno to classical.
- Your fav tv seriesWould you believe I don't have a TV. But I do borrow DVDs of Lost from friends, but more importantly Battlestar Galactica! It's sci-fi for grown ups! You'd have to watch an episode to understand :)
- Your fav books/authorsIan McEwan, Douglas Adams, Phillip Pulman, Ursula LeGuin...
- What sort of movies do you like? The Matrix, The Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Youth Without Youth, Wings of Desire, Being John Malcovich...
