About me
I'm pretty much a laid back, regular guy, with a passion for books/movies, the usual stuff, but i also love travelling, and (though I stand to be accused of being an old man) i do enjoy a good walk. I spend most of my time hanging out with my mates: only problem is they're all in relationships and i seem to have become the permanent fifth wheel!
i would love to meet a cute, fun-loving girl who enjoys all manner of lifes offerings, from going out for dinner/drinks to just staying at home curled up on the sofa. finding someone in this city's next to impossible, so give me a shout and who knows.

About me
- What is your occupation?Publishing is my profession - which makes me pretty lucky because books are my passion (or one of them)
- What have you done so far?i've sort of steamrolled through high school, college, uni and now postgrad, kind of regret not taking a gap year, even though regrets are pointless.
- What are your future plans?everything is up in the air - lease runs out soon, must get a job or its aurevoir to london for a while - looking forward to getting settled and having a tiny bit more money than i do now.
- Your perfect partnershe doesn't have to be any particular height, eye colour, hair colour etc - but there must be an attraction. nice eyes can seal the deal. my perfect partner is positive, outgoing and fun - she is the sort of girl who will yell on a rollercoaster with me and also lie on the grass with me for hours, staring up at the sky (cliched i know, but i'm a romantic at heart!) when i'm with her, i don't feel the need to over analyse things
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?the dull stuff - footy and sports, reading, writing, hanging out, going for walks (great for mulling things over) the slightly more interesting stuff - art galleries, theatre, cinema, eating out at restaurants, travelling the really cool stuff i have yet to do - jump out of a plane (even though i would be terrified), write a novel.
- Music
- Your fav tv seriesAt the mo it's a toss up between peep show and lost
- Your fav books/authorsi read all sorts, from highbrow lit to escapist adventures. my favourite book of all time is The Iron Man, by Ted Hughes. still have the copy i got for my 7th birthday. right now i'm going to start reading Mister Pip
- What sort of movies do you like?Comedy, mainly, and films like Closer and Garden State, but i do enjoy a good cheesy action-adventure movie, too. now, few of us guys will ever admit to enjoying rom-coms, but if i had a pretty girl in my arms then i reckon they wouldn't be, you know, too horrible :)
- Types of people you like?I like people who are talkative, outgoing and can laugh at themselves, and have a good imagination.
- What kind of people do you find attractive? i don't think i have a 'type' - but nice eyes are a definite attraction. girls i find most attractive are fun and outgoing, and are not afraid to argue with me.
- Drinks
- HolidaysBeach Holidays, long weekend city breaks, anything really
- Fav thingMy books

- Family lifeMy family's pretty important to me, and I definitely see myself doing the whole marriage/kids thing at some point in the future.
- Jobs&WorkingI believe in doing something you feel passionate about.
- MoneyLoads of money would be nice, but in publishing i'm never going to be rich!
